Luther L. Turner Jr. is a lifetime resident of Longview, TX. He is the only son of the late Velma and Luther L. Turner Sr. On Valentine’s Day in 1992, he married his wife Kimberly, and they have two adult children Alexis and Ahmad.

In December of 1998, Luther said yes to God, and has been a faithful
servant ever since.

He began his theological studies with Rhema Bible School under Kenneth Hagin Ministries in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Later, he procured both a bachelors and master’s degree in theology from Oval Bible College in Lake Charles, Louisiana as well as a Doctorate of Divinity.

Luther was ordained as a minister and later a Bishop under the now late Bishop Charlie Davis of The New Testament Church of Jesus Christ in Fresno, California. He is also an ordained minister with Faith Tabernacle Church of Deliverance Inc. Chandler, Texas founded by the late Apostle J. D. Hamilton.

Pastor Turner is the proud Founder and Pastor of the Holy Truth Ministries Church in Longview, Texas. For the past 20 years, he has pastored this independent ministry that focuses on soul saving, love, and deliverance through the teachings of the Word of God. Pastor Turner believes that if people would seek God’s kingdom first like the Word says in Matthew 6:33, then all of the things they need, want, and desire will be added unto them.

Pastor Turner not only has a passion for “feeding” people spiritually, but he enjoys cooking and feeding people naturally as well.

Pastor Turner enjoys his family, reading and studying God’s Word, traveling, and making people laugh.
